12/31 Slumber Party

[ amazingly, chuuya agreed to starshines terms. she meets up with him later that evening, when no one is looking and blindfolds him. they go up to the second floor and then up a floor again (where were the stairs?) and then into a room past some kind of fabric. when she takes the blindfold off, there's definitely a big curtain between her stuff and something else (???) but her side of the room is definitely the aesthetic of her icon crossed with three wolf moon and lots of unicorns. there's also a black light, glow in the dark stars, and a couple lava lamps. ]

Better than the nutcrackers, right?

[it's not really his style, nor is it quite like any of the (probably few) girls' rooms he's seen-- it isn't creepy, though, and that's really the important part here.]

I've been there with some of my subordinates before, I get you. They do everything you need, but then you try to take them out and they don't know what to do with themselves...

[he shakes his head, with a little roll of his eyes.]

[ she sighs ]

If only it were that simple, Chuuya. Think of me like the worlds best physic - I can see your future and your past, but [ she waves her hand vaguely ] it's the present that eludes me.

[ shes snaps her fingers suddenly, great idea!!!!! ]

[helping out could be a bad plan, but you know what-- he's here to make the most of things, and he may as well go all in. high risk/high reward, and all that.

so after taking a moment to consider, humming under his breath, chuuya nods.]

Like I said - I can't be everywhere all at once. Maybe you can be an extra pair of eyes. We need to figure out who is doing all this killing, because it's a big downer. And in exchange, I'll make sure you don't end up dead.

I can do that much. I've been keeping an eye out already, but--

[he waves a hand vaguely. nothing he can act on has really come of it, yet.]

I'll tell you what I do notice, and you let me know if there's anything you want me to watch for in particular, yeah?

[whether or not she can or will deliver on keeping him alive is yet to be determined, but hey, he'll take his chances. he's already at risk just by being here, it's not like he can end up any worse off.]

If you don't mind, though-- it'd help to know what you're already aware of, just so I'm not giving you shit you already know about.

No offense, but if you really know everything about us, you'd be the first person I'd look at for that. Do you share info on us with the other two?

[if it's not her, it could still be one of the others, ok... and he's not ruling her out either, there are absolutely people in the mafia who would set people on things they did themselves.]

[ she shrugs ]

I like lording the fact I know more than them over them, though, you know?
